Sewing with Badia started in October 2007. Badia Bentley is the sole proprietor.
Badia's passion for sewing started in 6th grade. Her major in high school was Commercial and Home Economics. She learned techniques on how to stitch, darn and needlework from her mother and grandmother.
Badia's first job after high school was in a sewing factory where she worked for several years. As a homemaker she made all of her children clothes and taught them how to cut out patterns, pin pattern to fabric, sew seams, and lay pattern pieces for stitching.
In the midst of life changes she went to college and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Systems and Technology. Working in healthcare has afforded Badia the opportunity to work part time and run her own sewing business - Sewing with Badia.
For Badia, sewing presents the opportunity to see one’s accomplishment from start to finish. She wants to show and teach others that sewing can be fun and easy to learn.
Badia took several classes at Moore College of Art, Philadelphia College of Textile and Art. She is a “You Can Make It Teacher” and member of several professional sewing organizations.

OMG the bibs are not only adorable but they provide excellent protective
coverage. Talk about ingenuity at it's best. We were at the lake this
weekend so when I fed Frankie I just took of his shirt and slipped on
his little denim smock and it worked out great.
